Property here is sold by the square metre. We think it should be judged on how it performs.
Three commitments define everything we own, whether we built it or bought it. They are what we mean by a Nordic standard, and they are not negotiable when a budget gets tight.

We build to the highest energy class and lift what we acquire well beyond where we found it. The lowest running cost is the most honest thing a building can offer the people in it.

Our buildings are monitored and operated digitally, so faults are found before they are reported and decisions rest on what a building actually does, not on what it was assumed to do.

We keep what we build
We are not here to finish a project and leave. It changes how you design a stairwell when you know you will still be maintaining it in fifteen years.
Everyone gets into the building
Accessibility is standard in everything we do, and it does not get value-engineered out of a project to protect a margin.
We check before we commit
Ownership, classification and buildability are verified before anything is signed — on every site, including the ones we badly want.
We say what we know
Where a number is an estimate, we say so. We would rather show a partner exactly where the uncertainty sits than sound more certain than we are.
